Datum Automation are a leading UK based manufacturer of plastic card finishing
machines and credit card processing machines. Established in 1979, Datum UK,
have over twenty years experience of credit card and smart card handling, in
particular, wrapping machines, scratch cards, smart cards and credit card
production. Our range of plastic card finishing machines include smart card
manufacturing to ISO7816, flow wrapping systems, card personalisation, OCR,
scratch panel application, hologram application for example Visa / MasterCard.
Our credit card processing machines are used world wide for Visa and
MasterCard production. Our GSM sim punching machines are used in the
production of GSM sim cards for the mobile telephone market. Many of our
plastic card finishing machines have been operating for many years in the
personalisation of pre paid telephone calling cards and the application of a
scratch panel over the pin number. Customers in the UK and all over the world
have come to rely on our credit card processing machines to produce many
millions of credit cards. Our plastic card finishing machines can be found
operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and are regarded as excellent value
for money. Our range of credit card processing machines include hologram
application, signature panel application, magnetic stripe encoding and, to
comply with new EMV regulations, we also offer smart card chip insertion
machines and chip encoding systems. All our plastic card finishing machines
are manufactured in the UK at our Hampshire based factory. We also manufacture
a range of small punching machines as part of our credit card processing
machines that can punch slots or holes to enable the cards to be used as
identification with a clip or for luggage tags. We can also integrate many of
our credit card processing machines with inkjets for various suppliers to
enable lost cost card personalisation.
